Chair of Equestrian NSW attended the Showcase of Showjumping competition which was held over the weekend.
Judy provided this report:
"It is difficult to imagine a more beautiful setting than that provided by Sydney Polo Club for the Spring Showcase of Showjumping last weekend.
Kerry Winning and her fantastic team produced a show that was elegant, well organised and provided the riders and horses with wonderful going and beautifully presented courses. The VIP's pavilion provided atmosphere and wonderful food and a good mix of company. The polo enthusiasts and the jumping supporters are a good creative mix easily, enjoying the ambiance of an excellent show.
In the main arena the 'drone' camera threw up great images of the whole event both polo and jumping and allowed the sponsors to be acknowledged without too much assault on the ears of the audience.
Edwina Mitchell provided outstanding and varied food for all comers. The punters could elect to eat healthy and delicious, or sumptuous and extravagant, the standard was maintained for the three days of the show.
From the riders point of view there was plenty of room for the trucks, excellent marshalls for each class and really well set up practice jumps, on good going with plenty of scope for movement of the fences when the ground inevitably became a little cut up.
This is an event with a great future. Congratulations to all involved it was a privilege to be there."
