Equestrian NSW announces Interschool Sponsorship

Equestrian NSW is delighted to announce Pryde’s Easifeed® as the Platinum/Naming Rights sponsor for the 2015 NSW Interschool Championships and the 2015 Australian Interschool Championships.

Equestrian NSW coordinates the organisation of competition and training for school students with a view to providing a pathway from learning to ride through to competing at the highest level in any of its sporting disciplines.  Each discipline in interschool competition is run under the Equestrian Australia rules for that discipline. These in turn reflect the standards and requirement of the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI).

The 2015 NSW Pryde’s EasiFeed® State Interschool Championships is being held from 18 to 21 June at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Horsley Park, a legacy of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.   The event looks to be the largest since its inception over ten years ago with nearly 600 school age competitors, representing over 100 primary and secondary schools with over 600 horses competing in over 2300 individual tests.  Each competitor will be trying to qualify for the 2015 Pryde’s EasiFeed® Australian Interschool Championships which is being held in September at the same venue.

Equestrian NSW Chief Executive Officer, Bruce Farrar, said “we are delighted to have Pryde’s EasiFeed® on board for our State and Australian Interschool Championships.  Pryde’s has been a long term supporter of major equestrian events in NSW and is aligned with our aspirations to develop our school age athletes and their horses, through cutting edge nutrition, high quality competitions and coaching.”

“Pryde’s are extremely excited about this venture and involvement with Equestrian NSW for the Interschools Program of State and National events for 2015”,  said Peter Pryde, Managing Director of Pryde’s Easifeed®.

“Pryde’s are fortunate to be already heavily involved at an elite equestrian level but we also understand the importance of support and education at a grass roots/Young Rider level. This particular time in a young rider’s life is where you embed the knowledge and start building the platforms for happy, healthy then successful horse and rider combinations.”

We really are looking forward to this new relationship and where it can take all of us involved, especially our riders of the future!!”
