2016 State Interschool Champions Announced
The 2016 Godolphin State Interschool Championships proved to be an extremely popular event this year with over 670 competitors and their horses and families descending upon the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
The Equestrian State Championships are fast becoming very popular amongst young equestrian riders in an effort to represent their school and showcase their talents.
Over 60 Primary and 150 Secondary Schools were represented during the week long event in the disciplines of Combined Training, Eventing, Dressage, Vaulting, Show Horse and Jumping.
Equestrian NSW welcomed Godolphin as the major sponsor of the championships for 2016 along with Co-Wyn Building Group, FDC Construction & Fit Out, Inglis/Horsezone, Prydes Feeds and Rivenlee Horse Floats. Without the sponsors the event would not have been possible.
The event also draws upon the talents of many people to ensure it runs smoothly for the competitors. We also thank the officials and volunteers for assisting us in keeping the event running smoothly.
Equestrian NSW looks forward to running the 2016 Godolphin Australian Interschool Championships from the 26th - 30th September, also at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
We now extend our congratulations to each of the discipline Primary and Secondary Champions along with the Overall Champions for riders and schools.
