2015 Sport NSW Sports Awards

Equestrian NSW attended Curzon Hall last night for the 21st NSW Sports Awards run by Sport NSW.  

Sports from all over NSW were represented as awards were presented throughout the evening.   Master of Ceremonies, Tim Gilbert from the Today Show kept the proceedings running on time.

Equestrian NSW submitted nominations for Event of the Year - 2015 Australian Interschool Championships, Organisation of the Year and Shane Rose as Athlete of the Year.  Judy Fasher, Chair Equestrian Australia and Management from the Sydney International Equestrian Centre attended in support of the nominations. We were pleased to find out that each of the nominations had been selected as a finalist. Being recognised amongst the main stream sports of Netball, Rugby Union, Cricket, Tennis, Football is a step forward for Equestrian Sport in NSW.

Whilst we didn't bring home a trophy we were honored to be included.
