2016 Carriage Driving Committee Announced

Nominations were sought from interested parties to form the 2016 Driving NSW committee for the next two year term.

Driving is gradually increasing its profile in NSW and Australia. In 2016 there will be 3 FEI competitions providing greater opportunity for local competitors.

Nominations were received and these were assessed by the Equestrian NSW Board.

It was agreed the following nominees will be elected onto the NSW Driving Committee for 2016.

Term of Members

In previous years the committee members have held a term of two continuous years before requests for nominations were received. To bring the committee into line with other committees in NSW it is proposed that the committee is structured as follows:

For each two year term, three members shall be appointed in the first year and three members shall be appointed in the second year. No member may serve more than four consecutive terms of two years.

The nominations for each of the terms will be decided by the Committee at their first meeting which will also determine the positions of Chair, Vice Chair.
