BOARD NOMINATIONS

Nominations for the Board closed on 20 Oct 21.  Two nominations were received for the four available positions – Katie Robertson and Amber Fuller. 

Under Rule 15 of our Constitution:  

If there are insufficient nominations from candidates received to fill the respective vacancies on the Board, then those nominated shall be declared elected at the Annual General Meeting by the returning officer. 

Accordingly, please join the Board in welcoming back Katie Robertson and congratulating Amber Fuller. 

The Board will now do a skills matrix of the current and to-be-appointed Directors (Brad Frankum, Alex Townsend, Coco Miles, Katie Robertson and Amber Fuller) and then do a gap analysis against the skills needed.  The Board will then look to appoint two Directors, with the skills flagged in the gap analysis, as casual vacancies, with the intention of having all appointments confirmed at the AGM on 22 Nov 21. 

The Board thanks outgoing Directors Jamie Winning-Kermond, Dave Cameron and Helen Batson for their service to the sport.  All three will no doubt continue to contribute in a really positive way to our equestrian future.
