FEI Driving at Witwood

The Bungendore Carriage Driving Club in conjunction with Driving NSW will be holding their annual FEI and EA Driving event.

The Witwood International Classic extends an invitation to EA and FEI registered drivers to attend the event which is being conducted from the 5th to 7th May at "Witwood" 8903 Kings Highway Mulloon, NSW.  Entries are now open.

The FEI competition will run a CAI 1 and 2 star competition for Single Horse and Ponies plus Pairs, Four in Hand and a Young Driver class.  

EA Participation classes will also be held for registered EA drivers. Classes will be for Single Horse/Pony, Horse/Pony Pairs and a Team class.

Hardy Zantke from the USA will be the Foreign Judge.  He is active on the organizational level of the sport has been co-organizer of the California Classic Combined Driving Event. He is a member of the ADS (American Driving Society) Combined Driving & Dressage Committees, the USA Equestrian Driving Committee, the USET (United States Equestrian Team) Driving and Active Drivers Committees. He served as Chef d'Equipe for the U.S. Team at the Four-In-Hand World Championship in Waregem, Belgium, in 1996 and the World Equestrian Festival - CHIO in Aachen, Germany, in 2001. 

Hardy will also be conducting a Judge's workshop for FEI/EA Judges. Entries are now open for both competitions.

For FEI classes all competitors please note current FEI/EA requirementsfor newly registered FEI horses. NEW IMPLEMENTATION-  Following the FEI General Regulation, horses that are being registered with the FEI for the first time will need to be identifiable by the EA National Passport. This process WILL NOT APPLY to any horse with a current FEI registration number or overseas national passports (KWPN, German Hannover Document,etc.).
